Product Withdrawal

Cockatoo Grove sources oil from its own organically certified estate and a nearby principal growing partner (a certified organic olive oil producer). We have been advised by our growing partner that two agricultural chemicals regularly used to protect horticulture crops were applied to their olive groves in the 2024 growing season.

Some of our products have been affected and advice from the relevant government authorities, ACO Certification Ltd (our certifier) and our retail partners is that these products are no longer eligible to be labelled as organic.

As a result, we have had to make the very difficult, but necessary decision to withdraw affected products from shelves of our retail partners. 

As a family business that is passionate about organic farming, we are deeply disappointed that this has occurred. We will continue to be unwavering in our commitment to producing world class, certified organic Australian extra virgin olive oil.
